AC4: Sango x Kato Japanese Denim Jacket V2 - Skydive
Sango developed the fourth artist collection (AC4) with Alex Kato. When people in the creative community hear his name, they don’t associate it with just one skillset or category. It’s a name that is connected to good spiritual energy and a master of many passions. Kato is a clothing designer, stylist, DJ, music producer, and a previous professional yoyoer. The Sango x Kato Japanese Denim Jacket V2 is a direct evolution of the first jacket. As we sped up time with an acid wash, the garment now feels as if it’s been worn through generations molding perfectly to the body. The genuine leather patch has been relocated above the previous location resembling the water reflection at the base of Mt. Fuji. Finally, the letter “U” has been stamped on the front for the representation of “Undo.” In order to learn and grow, we need to Undo what we’ve been told and relearn it for ourselves.
